Alone time* is important for the development of children and their autonomy. It is also a bit of a sanity break for adults whose jobs may involve a lot of socializing. Time away from others, to sit, to be quiet, to think, or to go into a non-thinking moment of repose, may be what we need, from time to time, to ground ourselves and to re-tune* our being. It is also a time to let imagination and creativity out for a romp. There is no telling where that process will lead :)
* Note: found these to be of interest this morning - The first is about the value of alone time, and the second is just a curious exploration of the human body and resonating frequencies.
